Hoody Economy is an interactive simulation of an economy where wealth never piles up. A population of agents trade and exchange wealth week by week under a real econophysics model — set the policies, pick a strategy for your own player, and watch inequality, social classes, and your own fortune rise and fall in real time.
What you can do
• Tune the population, the market (add your own products), and price volatility
• Toggle redistribution, a poverty safety net, and random market shocks
• Pick a strategy for your player; get caught manipulating the market and you're fined or jailed
• Follow live charts, social-mobility and Gini readouts, and a year-in-review report every 52 weeks
Under the hood
Wealth moves through a kinetic wealth-exchange model (Chakraborti & Chakrabarti, 2000; the Pareto tail comes from distributed saving propensities, Chatterjee, Chakrabarti & Manna, 2004). Money is strictly conserved every week, inequality is tracked with the Gini coefficient, and a progressive tax-and-transfer redistributes on top. The engine is pure and unit-tested.
